OUR MISSION
The mission of Peace Arch Montessori is to provide the highest quality of Montessori preschool and early learning experience to each child in our loving and caring environment.
We are serving children in the North Whatcom county area, including Blaine, Birch Bay, Custer and Lynden.
The Montessori method is a proven educational model based on principles of human learning and early childhood education developed nearly a century ago by Dr. Maria Montessori. Parents of children enrolled in Montessori schools swear by it, and the college performance of Montessori students stands as a testament to its effectiveness. It is best when children enroll in a Montessori program at a young age, while their minds are the most open. Simply put, children who begin Montessori education during preschool go on to perform better in grade school, college, and the workforce.

Ms. Fawn Intaraprasert
Founder - Lead Teacher
• 20 years of experience in teaching early childhood education in Asia and North America.
• Certified Early Childhood Montessori Teacher from Age of Montessori Institute, MACTE accredited.
•Received certificate of Social Emotional Learning and wellness from Breathe For Change.
• Received certificates of Mindfulness for educator training from Mindful School
• Attended Mindfulness Teacher training from Mindfulness Northwest and practiced Mindfulness mediation for many years in Thailand and in America.
• Washington state authorized social and medical interpreter for Thai community.
• Graduated Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Social Sciences from KhonKaen university, Thailand.
Taylor Andrews
Teacher
Taylor grew up in a small rural town in Washington, spending lots of time outdoors. Both of her parents are teachers, and she knew she wanted to follow in that tradition. After graduating from Western WA University, Taylor worked in the non profit sector, until finding a postion teaching pre-k at Peace Arch Montessori. Teaching brings her great joy and provides a family friendly schedule, as she and her husband raise their young children in Blaine.

Ms. Grace Turner
Lead Infant / Toddler Teacher
Ms. Grace has a lot of experience working with young children working with young children and the love for arts and crafts. Ms. Grace brings creativity into every lesson. Ms. Grace received International Montessori Teaching Diploma and certified Montessori infant/toddler teacher by North American Montessori Center, Vancouver, Canada.
Ms. Anna Lisa Gallant
Substitute Teacher
Ms. Anna Lisa has over 36 years of teaching children. She holds her Bachelor Degree of general education from University of Mindanao. She is now working at Blaine primary school in Blaine school district as paraprofessional. Her passion is teaching children. She love dancing. Her favorite colors are purple and blue. Her favorite quote is Smiles cause nothing but bring wonderful feelings.
Ms. Ao, Natsuree Pakboonmecharoen
Infant / Toddler Teacher
During summer of 2024, Ms. Ao volunteered in our classroom while two of her sons attended our summer program. Ms. Ao holds a bachelor degree of business administration at Raja Mangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani, Thailand. She enjoys working with children at Peace Arch Montessori.
Her hobbies are doing arts and baking goods

Ms. Apple Kakana Morgan
Teacher Assistant
Ms. Apple holds a bachelor degree of Marketing at Rajamangala University in Thailand. She owned a Thai restaurant in Standwood for three years before she moved to live with her beautiful family in Ferndale. She has a 5 years old daughter who joined our school in summer and many children events. She loves spending time with her daughter,walking at the beach with family and cooking. Our students enjoy reading and playing with Ms. Apple.
Her favorite color is red.

Ms. Graciel Chatters
Infant / Toddler Assistant
Ms. Graciel Chatters is a proud mom of two, married for 14 years, and originally from the Philippines. She’s lived in Blaine, WA for 9 years, after relocating from Coeur d'Alene, ID.
Graciel has worked in various roles, including as a cook at a nursing home and a Graphic Designer Assistant. Now, she enjoys working with toddlers at Peace Arch Montessori, where she embraces the chaos and joy of everyday learning.
Mr. Julius Refol
Zumba instructor
Mr. Julius graduated master degree in guidance and counseling at Riza Memorial college, Davao city, Philippines and bachelor degree in secondary education at Riza Memorial college, Davao city, Philippines.
He used to work as English teacher and physical education instructor in Philippines. Mr. Julius is now live with his family in Ferndale and currently works as our morning substitute teacher and a Zumba instructor in Blaine and Birch Bay community.
Kelsey Baldwin
Yoga instructor
Kelsey Baldwin is a parent of our graduated student. She has 10+ years of yoga practice and Pilates. She is 200 YTT certified and registered with Yoga Alliance. Join us every Thursday 5.45 pm to 6.45 pm for evening session or Sunday 9-10 am for morning session.
